I took this picture to send to Mandy. I wanted to show her what we bought for her to play with when she came to visit. We don't really have any outdoor toys to play with, so we went to yard sales and 2nd hand stores to find some. This is the 1st thing we found. Not bad for 5 bucks.

Hey! Where did they go? - Picture #24

This is what I do on my way to work. I take pictures out the window, along the side of the road, of nothing. Actually, I was trying to get something, I just wasn't fast enough.
Look in the center of the picture, hiding behind the frame rail of my car. Can you see that small tire and just the very back of a golf cart?
A little girl about 10 or 11 drives this golf cart to the bus stop every morning. In the passenger seat sits an older man, who I think is her Grandpa. Sometimes I go by early enough and I get to see her driving along. Other times they are already parked and Grandpa is sitting back, with his feet up on the dashboard, all relaxed, just waiting for the bus.
I wonder what they talk about. I bet that girl is going to have some great memories.

After sending this 2nd picture to Kristy, she decided that maybe she would like to try using this phone. So, of course Grandpa and Grandma ran right over there to deliver it to her.
I tried to erase all of Chad's contacts and pictures so she could start fresh with it. Instead of erasing just his, I erased all of hers too.
I'm sorry Kristy.
I'm glad she is only 10. I don't think she has a lot of contacts yet.

I love taking pictures of flowers. This was a plant that just bloomed at Taco-bell. It was in the drive thru. After I got my food, I stopped to take this picture.

There used to be a wall on our patio. We couldn't see the back yard because it was to tall so we took it down. I wanted to see if Kristy would notice anything different so I took this picture and sent it to her in a text message. She noticed right away.

Kristy's dog chewed up her charger, so she switched phones with her mom. She said it was hard to text now. Grandpa said she could try his, so I took a picture to send her to see if she liked it.

Adventures at the DMV

I had to go to the DMV to renew my license plates today. I dread this chore, which is probably why I waited until my plates had been expired for 27 days before even attempting to get it done. The place is usually packed and I always know that I'm going to be waiting for about 3 months for my turn.

Even though the parking lot wasn't that full, and inside there were still empty chairs, I was glad that I took my book. At least I would have something to do while I waited. As it turned out, I didn't even need my book.

Right after I sat down and started reading, I heard a man say " did you say Faith Hill?". I didn't look up and I really didn't give it much thought, I just figured maybe someone had told him about a concert or something. A few minutes later, an older, spunky couple sat down in the chairs in front of me. I was still reading, but I heard the man say "G" and his wife said "Grace Kelly". Right then, I knew what was going on and I closed my book so I could hear. " Gidget, Gene Autrey, George Forman, Gwen Dahl D-A-H-L" By now I was smiling. I love this game. And I love it even more when two cute old people are playing it at the DMV where I can eves drop. "Goldie Hawn" she said, "Goldilocks" he said with a smirk.

After a few minutes with no more names that started with a G, I opened my book again. "H" the man said and the game was back on. "Heather Locklier, Hale Berry, Hope Blaine". That's about as far as they got when a lady yelled " number twenty four". Shoot, that was my number and this was just getting good.

Isn't it fitting that my number 11 picture is Anthony my number 11 racing child. Only here, he is not racing his car at the track. Him and Brandon were racing Chad and Zachary on the four wheelers around the yard.

Grampy's birthday again - Picture #10

Ahh...this one is better. I really wanted to take these pictures with SinDee and Grampy on my oh-so-cool blackberry so I could send them to Michelle. Now that I'm posting this though, I think I sent her the first one, and that one didn't turn out so well. Hmmm...I'll have to fix that.

Short bus - Picture #9

Zane sent me some text message about a short bus accident and me licking the windows and not wearing my helmet. When I left for lunch at work, this bus was parked right out side. I took a picture of it to prove to him that I was safe and sound. It's so nice to be cared about by my nephew.

Grandpa's 88th Birthday - Picture #4

We went to dinner at the Winery for Grandpa's 88th Birthday. Afterwards, SinDee and I posed with him in the garden for pictures. This oh-so-cool blackberry picture didn't turn out so good. Luckily, I had my camera and we took some pictures that did turn out pretty good. I can't show you those now though, that would ruin the whole "What's on your phone?" theme.

The car seat sits in the middle of the back seat and if we are taking Zachary home in the afternoon, the sun shines right in his eyes. I finally learned to keep an extra pair of sunglasses in my car, that way I don't have to ride the whole time with my arm up trying to shade his eyes. Plus, he looks so cute.

Camera Shy

This is Brandy -
Well it was until she heard the camera come on and then she high tailed it out of here. I tried to follow her but she was too fast and all I got was the chair.

There she goes.

I finally had to catch her, hold her in my lap and then I was able to take this picture with my cell phone.Silly dog. I don't know what it is, but even if she is asleep she will get up and run as soon as she hears the camera power up. One time, she even bit me when I caught up to her after she ran. I forgave her though. I guess she just doesn't like her picture taken.

I googled it myself back in December when I wrote this post, but I had no idea that "that'll do pig" was such a popular quote. Maybe other people say it as often as Chad and I do. My counter has a keyword analysis and Farmer Hoggetts' praising words to Babe, seem to be the most popular search that lands people on my blog.
Next in line for top searches that find me are; birthday alerts and pictures of funerals. A couple of people were looking for Henry Long or Sundance Kid, I wonder if they were sorely disappointed when they saw that I really don't know anything other than what I told you here or here.
There was one person that was actually looking for me (or us), I know this because they searched yahoo for chadandtrudi (how many chadandtrudi's could there be in yahoo search land?).
And last but certainly not least, I can't help but to wonder what prompted one searcher to google "what does going out on a limb mean?" I know what it means to me, and I sincerely hope they found the answer they were looking for.

It's official. According to the poll conducted right here on my blog, William Henry Long is in fact Sundance Kid.
They didn't even need to dig him up to get this kind of information. They could have saved all the trouble and just asked my readers (all four). I have not heard what the results were of the tests they preformed when they dug him up, but I don't really need to, I know the answer. I have a poll.
