Grandpa's 88th Birthday - Picture #4

We went to dinner at the Winery for Grandpa's 88th Birthday. Afterwards, SinDee and I posed with him in the garden for pictures. This oh-so-cool blackberry picture didn't turn out so good. Luckily, I had my camera and we took some pictures that did turn out pretty good. I can't show you those now though, that would ruin the whole "What's on your phone?" theme.

Two of Zachary's favorite things are his Daddy, and his Daddy's race car. Every time he see's his dad's race car he'll say "race, race, race".

I don't know what it is about little boys and sunglasses. I just think they are so cute. Brandon knows it, just ask him.

Taking Zachary home - Picture #1

The car seat sits in the middle of the back seat and if we are taking Zachary home in the afternoon, the sun shines right in his eyes. I finally learned to keep an extra pair of sunglasses in my car, that way I don't have to ride the whole time with my arm up trying to shade his eyes. Plus, he looks so cute.

I always have a lot of pictures stored on my oh-so-cool blackberry. Some are good pictures that I will keep and some are bad shots that just need to be deleted. Good or bad either way, they are a snap shot of my every day life.

Camera Shy

This is Brandy -
Well it was until she heard the camera come on and then she high tailed it out of here. I tried to follow her but she was too fast and all I got was the chair.

There she goes.

I finally had to catch her, hold her in my lap and then I was able to take this picture with my cell phone.Silly dog. I don't know what it is, but even if she is asleep she will get up and run as soon as she hears the camera power up. One time, she even bit me when I caught up to her after she ran. I forgave her though. I guess she just doesn't like her picture taken.

I googled it myself back in December when I wrote this post, but I had no idea that "that'll do pig" was such a popular quote. Maybe other people say it as often as Chad and I do. My counter has a keyword analysis and Farmer Hoggetts' praising words to Babe, seem to be the most popular search that lands people on my blog.
Next in line for top searches that find me are; birthday alerts and pictures of funerals. A couple of people were looking for Henry Long or Sundance Kid, I wonder if they were sorely disappointed when they saw that I really don't know anything other than what I told you here or here.
There was one person that was actually looking for me (or us), I know this because they searched yahoo for chadandtrudi (how many chadandtrudi's could there be in yahoo search land?).
And last but certainly not least, I can't help but to wonder what prompted one searcher to google "what does going out on a limb mean?" I know what it means to me, and I sincerely hope they found the answer they were looking for.

It's official. According to the poll conducted right here on my blog, William Henry Long is in fact Sundance Kid.
They didn't even need to dig him up to get this kind of information. They could have saved all the trouble and just asked my readers (all four). I have not heard what the results were of the tests they preformed when they dug him up, but I don't really need to, I know the answer. I have a poll.

The continuing saga

So technically, he's not totally right. We don't know for sure it's a tree.
But look how much it has changed since the last time I tried to convince myself that I was right.
And now I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that it's probably not a weed. (notice the words fact and probably used in the same sentence? I must not be totally convinced.)
OK, so I'm sure it's not a weed. Sheesh.
I'm not telling Chad that it's not a weed though. I'm just not going to say anything more about it.

Rosie

Do you guys remember Rosie? Here she is with her sister Mitzi when they were first born last June.

Mitzi moved away soon after about 8 weeks. But Rosie thought she would just stay here and play ball.

But then she started dreaming of the outside world. And wished for her own little girl. So she moved to Las Vegas where she could live the rest of her life as Makenzie's very own doggy.

I got a letter and a picture from her the other day. She said she is happy and content. She loves her new family. Here she is with Emma. She wishes us well, but doesn't really miss the dirt. She has grass now.

Ha Ha. I was just kidding when I told you yesterday that I wasn't going to blog anymore. Did I trick you? Were you like, NOOO, she can't do that? I hope you were worried. But if you weren't, that's ok too! I don't even know why I said it. Just one of those moods I guess.

Oh, I do have one thing. My poor dog Alley doesn't feel good today. She came the house tonight walking weird. At first, I laughed at her cause it looked funny. But then I realized something was wrong. She's not really limping, but kind of high-stepping. Like if her leg is kind of numb and she's not quite sure where to step. My poor Alley. I hope she doesn't die soon. I would really be sad and I gave her a really funny hair-cut. I don't want her to die with that do, that would be tragic.

I just wanted to tell you all that there will be no more blogging. I have run out of things to say. I just can't come up with one good post, so I'll have to hang it up.

Sticks and Stones

Do you know what this is? It's a stone. Karley took this picture under the bleachers at the races. She said it was pretty.

Spray on Bed Liners

Anthony is doing Vortex Bed Liners right here in Pahrump, Nevada.
This is a brand new 2009 Dodge Ram. He preps the bed then sho0ts this black vinyl stuff into the back of the truck.
Did I mention that this is a Brand New 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup? And now it has this really cool spray on bed liner that will save it from rust and damage. Woo Hoo Anthony! That is way cool.
