Let's Play

I have an idea. I'm just not sure how to implement it. I want to start a new game, and I want you to play. For now, we'll play it on this blog and if it goes over well, I'll move it to it's own.
Here is what I'm thinking;
Let's write some stories together. I'll start the story, and then you add on to it in the comments. You can even add your comments anonymously if you want, although I hope you'll really want the credit for your part of the story.
I think this will be really fun. I haven't completely thought this out yet, so there aren't really any rules. Let's just see how it goes. Ready to give it a try? Let's start out with something really silly.

This is a story about Mickey Mouse, only he's not really a mouse, and his name isn't really Mickey. It's Brian, but he likes to call himself Mickey. His mom always says that he shouldn't tell people that his name is Mickey because it confuses them. He thinks it's OK because some of the other mice in the neighborhood are named Mickey. "Mickey and Mouse just go together" he tells his mom. "Yes Brian", his mom says "but your not a mouse, and only mice should be named Mickey". "One day", his mother continues, "you'll see when..........................

OK. it's your turn. Add a word or a paragraph or whatever. Have fun.

    I am sure you wouldn't like being made fun of would you Brian? Also, what if someone wanted to find you, but they were looking for Mickey Mouse instead of Brian. Then they just gave up because.....

    But what if you won a wonderful prize, and you couldn't be found Brian, then what? And if you were found, how would you prove that you are Brian if you insist that you are Mickey? Though it would be great to be as famous as Mickey....

    Brian, it's late now, I want you to go up to bed. While you say your prayers tonight maybe you can ask God to help you find all the reasons why being "you" is so special and why you should be proud to be "you". You know Brian, you were named after your great grandfather and he...............

    "Whatever" Brian said as he stormed out the back door. "I don't even want to hear that story again".

  9. No. He had heard that story one, too many times. The story of great-grandpa Brian. Blah, Blah, Blah. Why couldn't his mom just see? That's why he wanted to change his name to Mickey, and why he wanted to be a mouse. Someday, he would be famous. And not like his great-grandpa, the ....

    OL'No. 86, born in Bloomfield Michigan on 2/15/1962. He was famous, maybe he wasn't Mickey Mouse, but he was a wide receiver and played 9 NFL seasons from 1984 to 1992. He played for the Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals and San Diego Chargers. Maybe that is old news to you young man, But your Great Grandfathers name was known all over the world. He got to be a football star by doing a little more than was required.......my gosh Brian, I could go on and on about him, how more famous do you need????? I think Brian you are so young and maybe you are just having a difficult time understanding what is important.
